The Canadians have a very appropriate saying : "Tombés en amour"...Well we "fell into love" with Tibetan Spaniels quickly and deeply ... and never expect to recover.
Tibetan Spaniel Breeding is for us a small, family-run business. We live in a cosy alpine home nestled at the edge of a small hamlet and bordering a lush green forest.
This safe and secure environment allows our dogs to live and play to their hearts content.
Fully socialized from an early age, our dogs live indoors with us, share our free time and bring joy not only to us but also to every neighbour who comes "nose to nose" with them around the hamlet.
They also love to play with our grand-children when they visit during the school holidays.
Our first Tibetan Spaniel, Alpha Romeo de Buitonne, arrived in December 1998. He shared our life for 15 years bringing much happiness; a heartfelt "Thank You" to Joël Carron for accepting to sell Alpha Romeo to us because the, initially, "small ball of fluff" both captured our hearts and allowed us to discover this secular breed.
Alpha's son, Shunyata F'Yuma de Romeo, (know as Romeo...to the ladies) was born in 2009 ans is currently our main sire.
In 2011, Sommerlyst's Jampal Cespa, joined our family from Denmark, brightening Yuma's days.
She was shortly followed by a second Danish female in 2012, Sommerlyst's Mani Minnie.
We are hugely grateful for the warm welcome, confidence and many precious tips offered by Ragnhild and Harald, breeders of many champions in Denmark.
All of our dogs have successfully passed the tests relating to the patella luxation and the detection of PRA.
Buying a dog is an act of importance and we welcome your visit with great pleasure. We do however ask that you notify us in advance.
